Triple draw poker is a new poker variation especially popular among high roller poker players. Triple draw poker is based on five card draw poker rules. There are two different types of triple draw poker: deuces to seven and aces to five. Basic Triple Draw Poker Rules
The game begins with the first player to the dealers left posts a blind bet. Afterwards, the dealer deals each player five face down cards. The player to the left of the big blind opens the first round of betting. After the betting is done, each player can discard some or all of his cards and replace them with new ones. Then, a second round of betting occurs, starting with the player to the dealers left. After the betting round, the third draw begins, followed by another round of betting.
Deuces to Seven Triple Draw Poker
In the deuces to seven triple draw poker variation, the highest possible hand is 2-3-4-5-7, followed by 2-3-4-6-7. The worst poker hand in this poker variation is a royal flush. Aces are ranked as high cards and flushes and straights have no meaning.
Aces to Five Triple Draw Poker
In aces to five triple draw poker, the best possible five card hand you can form is A-2-3-4-5, followed by A-2-3-4-6. In this triple draw poker variation, aces are ranked as high cards and straights and flushes do not count.
