MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will be hosting two performances by the singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band. Buffett will perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday October 21, and October 28, 2006 at 8 pm.
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band would revisit the MGM Grand as part of their Party at the End of the World 2006 Tour. The performances are a co production of House of Blues Concerts and MGM Grand. Tickets will go on sale Monday, August 21 at 10 am at the MGM Grand Garden Arena box office and other Ticketmaster locations in Las Vegas.
Buffett is currently working his second album a follow up to its top selling debut License to Chill. Buffet second album release is due to the upcoming fall. In the meantime, a DVD that features Buffett and other artists performing at the Madison Square Garden Hurricane Katrina benefit show will be coming out on Tuesday, August 22. The DVD will be named Big Apple to the Big Easy.
Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will be joining a well established company by performing at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Buffett will be performing on the same stage that had hosted concerts by The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney and boxing world championships.
