Clickgamer.com announced providing the first downloadable commercial mobile game to GP2X console gamers in the world. Blazar is the first in a series of games to be exclusively created for GP2X gamers, which up until now had to be satisfied with copies of retro games.
The European mobile gaming portal Clickgamer.com is the exclusive supplier of the commercial mobile game to the linux based device GP2X. Blazar, which was created by the award winning studio Elements Interactive is the first game developed for GP2X console gamers. Elements Interactive, the creator of the EDGELIB cross platform mobile games library, intends to create a series of GP2X games.
According to the Joe Wee, Joint Managing Director of Chillingo, the leading UK of mobile content provider, Clickgamer.com plans to change the variety of commercial games available to GP2X console users by supplying great games exclusively to the GP2X console community.
Chris Byatte, Joint Managing Director of Chillingo said that he believes that other development companies will create quality commercial games for GP2X games. UK based Chillingo is the operator of clickgamer.com and other content commerce sites such as clickapps.com and clickbands.com.
